Arguments about Legalizing Euthanasia(debate)

A simple activity in our school that made me won the best in debating.

My topic was about agreeing euthanasia to be legalized.

Lets begin with a simple definition. Euthanasia is mercy killing. YES, killing people, PEOPLE who are terminally-ill.

I agree to legalize euthanasia is because it would help us alleviate suffering of terminally-ill patients.

It would be inhuman and unfair to let them suffer the unbearable pain.

For example your mother, your beloved mother has a cancer, a stage 4 cancer, do you think you like her to suffer for a very long period of time? OF COURSE NOT!! then the best way is euthanasia. Some say that it is written in the bible including the ten commandments that"thou shall not kill" but then again euthanasia is not killing a person. There is a BIG DIFFERENCE between killing a human and euthanasia. Euthanasia is not murder if they show informed consent. In Euthanasia we are given two choices it could be let this disease run to its coarse or let go and allow the inevitable death come sooner. Every person has the right to make personal and private decision in their own lives. Since death is the most personal of all things the individual should have the right to decide. Let us say what if there is a chance that the person will survive, well it depends of the decision of that person, to let him/her body suffer or die with dignity, free from pain and consent of itself*mismo!*. LIFE is a ONE TIME OPPORTUNITY and the CHOICE OF DEATH IS IN THE HANDS OF THE ONE WHOSE LIFE IS INVOLVE. (in short legalizing euthanasia gives us the chance to choose whether to suffer or die with dignity without euthanasia our only choice is to suffer or it could be suicide and that's against the law.)
